A 26-year-old man from Kumanovo was detained following a report that he physically assaulted the daughter of his common-law wife.
“On May 31, 2026, at 11:10 p.m., police officers from the Kumanovo Police Department deprived S.M. (26) from Kumanovo of his liberty, acting upon a previous report that he had physically assaulted the 16-year-old daughter of his common-law wife at a family home in Kumanovo,” the Ministry of Interior stated.
Police added that after the case is fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed against him.
