Kickboxers from KBC Predator returned home with two medals from an international tournament held in Serbia.

Danilo Metodievski won a silver medal in the low-kick category for older juniors up to 71 kilograms, while Hristina Bojkovska claimed bronze in the low-kick division for younger juniors up to 52 kilograms.

Metodievski reached the final after defeating a Serbian opponent by a 2-1 decision in the semifinals. However, he suffered a leg injury during that bout, which later proved decisive in the fight for gold.

In the final against another Serbian competitor, he was unable to perform at his full capacity and lost by a 3-0 decision.

The club stated that a special tactical approach had been prepared for the final and was successfully implemented, but the injury prevented Metodievski from using enough kicks to secure additional points and victory.

A bronze medal was also won by Hristina Bojkovska, for whom this was only her third fight in the ring.

She impressed with a variety of kicking techniques and an attractive fighting style, with her bout described as one of the highlights of the tournament.

Nevertheless, her Bulgarian opponent’s greater experience proved decisive and secured the win.

“As a coach, I am extremely satisfied with what our athletes showed. During the coming week, we will share the full fight recordings,” said Jovan Krstevski from KBC Predator.
