A 30-year-old resident of Kumanovo was detained after police established that she was operating a moped without a valid driver’s license.
“On May 31, 2026, at 2:20 p.m. in Kumanovo, police officers from the Kumanovo Police Department deprived H.A. (30) from Kumanovo of her liberty,” the Ministry of Interior said.
According to police, during a traffic control operation on “11 Oktomvri” Street in Kumanovo, officers stopped a moped with Kumanovo license plates and found that she was driving without having passed the driver’s examination.
“Following instructions from a public prosecutor, she was taken to a police station, while the moped was confiscated,” police stated.
Authorities added that after the case is fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed against H.A.
