A 35-year-old man from Kumanovo is suspected of unlawfully holding an acquaintance captive, during which he allegedly assaulted, drugged and sexually abused him.
“On May 31, 2026, at 9:15 p.m. in Kumanovo, police officers from the Kumanovo Police Department deprived D.P. (35) from Kumanovo of his liberty,” the Ministry of Interior stated.
According to police, he is suspected of keeping a 36-year-old acquaintance from Kumanovo in his home against his will and by using force from 11:00 p.m. on May 29, 2026, until 7:00 a.m. on May 31, 2026.
As reported, during that period D.P. repeatedly physically assaulted the victim, forced him to perform oral sexual acts and compelled him to use narcotics.
“During the arrest, police found and seized marijuana, a mobile phone with traces of a white powdery substance, and other items believed to be connected to the criminal offense,” Kumanovo police said.
He remains in police custody and, after the case is fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed against him.
