Two sisters from Kumanovo were arrested overnight after allegedly assaulting their stepmother at a family home, police said.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident was reported shortly after midnight, and police officers detained the women, aged 43 and 20, following allegations that they physically attacked the wife of their late father.
The suspects were taken to a police station, while authorities said the case is being fully documented and appropriate charges will follow.
