Kumanovo Police Campaign Successfully Completed: Graduation Celebrations Passed Without Incidents

The Prevention Department of the Kumanovo Police Department, in cooperation with the Municipal Council for the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency of Municipality of Kumanovo, successfully carried out the preventive campaign “Safe Celebrate Success” during the graduation celebrations of all secondary schools in the municipality.

As part of the campaign, members of the Prevention Department and council representatives prepared a special surprise for graduating students.

They welcomed graduates in front of the venues where graduation parties were held and distributed cards containing QR codes. The cards included congratulations on completing secondary education, along with practical advice and safety guidelines for celebrating responsibly.

According to the organizers, the initiative was positively received by students, with whom the department has continuously cooperated over the past four years through workshops, public discussions, educational lectures, as well as sports and cultural activities.

Positive feedback was also received from teachers, who welcomed the initiative and the presence of police officers near hospitality venues.

“The goal was to contribute to a safe celebration and prevent unwanted incidents. We are pleased to confirm that all graduation celebrations passed in the best possible order, without disturbances of public order and peace, without incidents and without traffic safety violations,” said Lile Mladenovska.

The Kumanovo Police Department assessed that the successful implementation of the campaign was the result of strong cooperation between institutions, schools, parents and the graduates themselves, who demonstrated responsibility and maturity while celebrating the completion of their secondary education.
