A 70-year-old man from Kumanovo sustained serious injuries after colliding with the door of a parked Volkswagen Golf while riding an electric bicycle.
“On May 23, 2026, at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Kumanovo Police Department received a report that on Third Macedonian Shock Brigade Boulevard in Kumanovo, M.A. (31) from the village of Nikuštak, Municipality of Lipkovo, had stopped a Volkswagen Golf with Slovenian registration plates and, while opening the driver’s door, struck an electric bicycle ridden by M.Lj. (70) from Kumanovo,” the Ministry of Interior stated.
According to police, the cyclist suffered serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the General Hospital in Kumanovo.
An investigation and on-site inspection were carried out by officers from the Kumanovo Police Department.
