Four people were injured, one of them seriously, following a traffic accident involving a Volkswagen Golf and a Kawasaki motorcycle in Kumanovo. A parked Citroën was also damaged in the crash.
“On May 25, 2026, at approximately 6:45 p.m., a traffic accident was reported at the intersection of Third Macedonian Shock Brigade Boulevard and JNA Street in Kumanovo involving a Volkswagen Golf with Kumanovo registration plates driven by L.Š. (24) from the village of Romanovce and a Kawasaki motorcycle with Kumanovo registration plates ridden by Lj.R. (27) from the village of Čerkez,” police stated.
According to authorities, after the initial collision, the Golf struck a parked Citroën driven by A.R. (43) from Kumanovo.
“The motorcyclist sustained serious bodily injuries, while L.Š. and her passengers, M.Š. (51) and a minor, both from Kumanovo, suffered injuries confirmed at the General Hospital in Kumanovo,” police added.
An inspection was carried out by a traffic investigation team from the Kumanovo Police Department.
