Criminal Charges Filed Against 18-Year-Old and Two Juveniles Over Peer Violence in Kumanovo

The Ministry of Interior has completed its investigation into the assault of a minor in Kumanovo and filed criminal charges against an 18-year-old woman and two juvenile girls.

According to the Ministry of Interior, “The Kumanovo Police Department filed criminal charges against P.A. (18) from the village of Lojane, Lipkovo Municipality, as well as against two juvenile girls aged 14 and 15 from Kumanovo, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of ‘violence’ under Article 386, paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code,” the Ministry said.

Police said that the suspects allegedly called a 14-year-old girl out of her home at around 6:00 p.m. on March 13, 2026, after which they persuaded her to enter a room near the “Sokolana” Sports Center in Kumanovo.

According to investigators, they first insulted the girl and then physically assaulted her while recording the entire incident on a mobile phone.

“After committing the assault, the suspects threatened the minor not to report the incident or speak about the recorded video, warning her that something even worse would happen to her if she did,” the police statement said.
