A nine-year-old girl from Kumanovo sustained serious injuries after being struck by a Volkswagen Golf on the regional road between Kumanovo and Skopje.
According to the Ministry of Interior, “On July 31, 2026, at 3:53 p.m., the Kumanovo Police Department received a report that on the regional Kumanovo–Skopje road, a Volkswagen Golf with Kumanovo license plates, driven by B.A. (20), struck a nine-year-old girl. Both are from Kumanovo.”
Police said the child sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the Kumanovo General Hospital.
“A public prosecutor was notified, and an inspection was carried out by an investigative team from the Kumanovo Police Department,” the statement said.
