A man from Kumanovo discovered two grenades while carrying out construction work near his weekend house in the village of Kosmatac.
According to the Ministry of Interior, “On July 13, 2026, at 9:40 a.m., S.T. (68) from Kumanovo reported to the Kumanovo Police Department that, while carrying out construction work near his weekend house in the village of Kosmatac, Kumanovo area, he had found two grenades,” the Ministry of Interior said.
Police added that “an inspection was carried out by officers from the Kumanovo Police Department, and the grenades will be collected during the day by a pyrotechnician from the Directorate for Protection and Rescue.”
