A man from the Kumanovo region damaged electrical power lines owned by EVN Macedonia while cutting trees in the village of Zubovce yesterday afternoon.
“On 19.06.2026 at 4:46 p.m., R.N. from Kumanovo, an employee of EVN Macedonia KEC Kumanovo, reported to the Kumanovo Police Department that on the same day, at around 1:00 p.m., electrical conductors owned by EVN Macedonia had been torn down in the village of Zubovce, Kumanovo region,” the Ministry of Interior said.
According to police, an inspection was carried out by officers from the Kumanovo Police Department, during which it was established that C.C. from Skopje, while cutting trees on his private property, caused one of the trees to fall and damage the electrical power lines.
“After the case is fully documented, an appropriate complaint will be filed against him,” the statement said.
