The second mosquito control treatment in Kumanovo will be carried out on June 23, 2026 (Tuesday), with activities beginning at midnight and continuing until the early morning hours.
The ground-based disinsection treatment, aimed at controlling the adult mosquito population, will cover multiple locations across the city and its surrounding areas.
Spraying will be conducted along the course of the Kumanovka River, from Kumanovo Spa through the village of Proevce and the area known as Bejtovi Nivi, along the river embankment, as well as on the surfaces beneath the gardens on the opposite side of the river.
The treatment will also include parts of “Oktomvriska Revolucija” Boulevard, the City Park, “Nikola Tesla” Street, the area around “Toli Zordumis” Primary School, Divo Naselje, the village of Romanovce, the City Cemetery, Zelen Rid, “Treta MUB” Boulevard, “11 Oktomvri” Street, the area around the General Hospital in Kumanovo, the city center, the Pero Chicho neighborhood, and the area along the Serava River.
The treatment will be carried out using the product “Citrol ULV”.
If weather conditions are unfavorable, the spraying will be postponed until the first following day when conditions allow the planned activities to be carried out.
