A 71-year-old man from Kumanovo was detained after police discovered he was riding a motorcycle without a valid driver’s license.
According to the Ministry of Interior, police officers from the Kumanovo Police Department arrested Ž.T. (71) on May 29, 2026, at 10:45 a.m. on Pero Čičo Street in Kumanovo.
During a traffic control operation, officers established that Ž.T. was operating a “Riya” motorcycle with Kumanovo registration plates without possessing the required license to drive the vehicle.
Police said that after the case is fully documented, criminal charges will be filed against him for the offense of “Reckless Driving” under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code.
