A total of 12 liters of rain per square meter fell across the Kumanovo region yesterday, according to the Hydrometeorological Administration.
The highest amount of rainfall was recorded in Mavrovi Anovi with 30 liters per square meter, while the lowest was measured in Gevgelija with only one liter per square meter.
Weather conditions across Macedonia today will be partly cloudy with occasional rainfall, locally accompanied by thunderstorms.
In some areas, weather processes may intensify into storms with heavier downpours of up to 20 liters per square meter, lightning, strong winds and hail.
Maximum temperatures will range between 21 and 29 degrees Celsius.
In Kumanovo and the surrounding area, the weather will be variable with conditions for instability during the afternoon hours.
A light to moderate north and northwest wind is expected.
Morning temperatures will be around 10 degrees Celsius, while the daily maximum is expected to reach 22 degrees.
The Hydrometeorological Administration has issued two weather warnings for the Kumanovo region: an orange alert for heavy rainfall and a yellow alert for thunderstorms.
Unstable weather conditions are also expected on Saturday and again from next Tuesday.
